SHINE – Motorists traveling across the State Route 104 Hood Canal Bridge should prepare for potential delays one night next week while bridge crews test the bridge’s drawspan.

Marine traffic also could be affected.

From 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, to 1 a.m. Thursday, July 31, bridge maintenance crews will perform several bridge drawspan openings. Each opening could delay traffic up to one hour.

The openings will allow crews to perform necessary maintenance work on equipment required to open and close the drawspan.
