SHINE – Motorists traveling across the Hood Canal Bridge should prepare for potential delays while bridge crews test the bridge’s drawspan.
From 9 p.m., July 30, to 1 a.m., July 31, bridge maintenance crews will perform several bridge drawspan openings. Each opening could delay traffic up to one hour.
The openings will allow crews to perform necessary maintenance work on equipment required to open and close the drawspan.
Marine traffic also could be affected.
