TACOMA — Drivers who use westbound State Route 16 across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge may encounter minor delays during overnight hours on Sept. 19 and Sept. 20 for bridge joint repair work.

At 9 p.m. Sept. 19, bridge maintenance crews will close the two left lanes to traffic until 5 a.m. Sept. 20. During the same overnight hours on Tuesday, crews will close the two right lanes.

Eastbound SR 16 will not be affected by this work.
