Night work planned on State Routes 16 and 3

Crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will continue a paving project that will require a series of night ramp and lane closures.

BREMERTON – Crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will continue a paving project that will require a series of night ramp and lane closures.

The closures will allow crews to maintain the pavement surface.

State Route 16 work schedule:

• Tuesday, Sept. 2, to Wednesday morning, Sept. 3, 8 p.m. to 12:01 a.m., close the westbound SR 16 exit to Sedgwick Road; 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., close right turn lane from Sedgwick Road to eastbound SR 16; 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, close the eastbound SR 16 exit to Sedgwick Road.

• Wednesday, Sept. 3, to Thursday morning, Sept. 4, 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., close the right-turn lane from Sedgwick Road to westbound SR 16.

• Thursday, Sept. 4, to Friday morning, Sept. 5, 8 p.m. to 12:01 a.m., close the westbound SR 16 exit to Sedgwick Road; 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, close the eastbound SR 16 exit to Sedgwick Road.

State Route 3 work schedule:

• Wednesday, Sept. 3, to Thursday morning, Sept. 4, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., close on-ramp from State Route 303, Kitsap Mall Blvd. to southbound SR 3; close one southbound lane from West Loxie Eagans Boulevard to State Route 304.
