POULSBO — In 1973, Richard Nixon was inaugurated for his second term as president, the nation began drawing down forces from Vietnam, and Pink Floyd’s “The Dark Side of the Moon” was released to the masses.
And in Poulsbo, the class of ’73 exited the halls of North Kitsap High School and entered the world.
This year, the class of ‘73 will celebrate its 40th reunion at the Kitsap Room of the Suquamish Tribe’s Clearwater Resort.
The reunion will take place from 5-10 p.m. Sept. 7 at the resort, and will begin with a social hour followed by a dinner.
A class photo will be taken at the gathering.
Reunion organizers are asking that classmates RSVP by Sept. 1. The event costs $50 per person. Spouses are welcome.
Payments can be mailed to: North Kitsap Class of 1973, P.O. Box 12, Poulsbo, WA 98370.
