North Kitsap and Kingston high schools will have their graduations this weekend at NKSD Stadium in Poulsbo.

NK’s ceremony will be June 7 at 7 p.m., while Kingston’s will take place June 8 at 1 p.m. Both will have open seating with no tickets required.

There are 292 Vikings and 150 Buccanneers graduating.

NK’s valedictorians include: Allison Ashley, Ingrid Burchill, Kenji Desai, Marisa Emmons, Sharmalia Jones, Anna McDaniel, Quinlan Stuart, and Matthew Tan. The salutatorians are: Ava Adrig, Allison Dvorak, Soren O’Neil, and Salix Wartes-Kahl.

For Kingston, the valedictorian is Marissa Gomez and the salutatorian Laila McNamara.

Both graduations will feature an opening honor song from the Suquamish and Port Gamble S’Klallam tribes, national anthem, band and choir performances, and comments from administrators and students.

The ceremonies will conclude with the presentation of diplomas, turning of the tassels and graduations tossing their caps to the sky.
