HANSVILLE — No injuries were reported after a Toyota pickup rearended a school bus carrying nine students Friday afternoon on Hansville Road.

The vehicles collided near the intersection with Bayberry Lane at about 3 p.m.

North Kitsap School District spokeswoman Robyn Chastain said bus was carrying students from Kingston Middle School. The students were evaluated by medics at the scene and parents were notified. A second bus was dispatched to drive the children home.

The pickup sustained significant damage.
