No suspects in Hansville marina vandalism

HANSVILLE — A Hansville woman reported vandalism at the Driftwood Key Club marina Monday.

On behalf of the Driftwood Key Club Homeowner’s Association, a 47-year-old woman reported several items had been thrown into the water on the morning of April 2. According to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s report, a resident heard noise at the marina the night before but didn’t investigate.

The next day, vandalism and theft was discovered. A picnic table, life jacket box, about 100 life jackets and a fishing box were thrown into the water. The picnic table, fishing box and about 60 life jackets were recovered. The remaining life jackets are believed to be north of Port Townsend in the Hood Canal.

No suspects have been identified.
