The owner of Noah’s Ark Restaurant discovered shattered windows in his diner Sunday morning, though nothing was stolen.
According to Bremerton Police reports, a double-paned window was shattered and two pieces of concrete were found lying on the floor inside the restaurant at 1516 Sixth St., with milk crates stacked underneath the window. The glass window on the east door nearby was also shattered, but still intact.
The owner said it appeared entry was made into the restaurant, but nothing was taken and the cash registers appeared untouched, reports said. The only other clues of entry were the drink cooler was open and the back door was unlocked.
A short time later, the owner of the Coffee Oasis latte stand next door to Noah’s Ark reported the stand was vandalized. One of the double panes of the door window was shattered, but there was no entry.
The estimated damage between the two incidents is $600.
