POULSBO — The North Kitsap School Board is expected to appoint a new member during a special meeting Nov. 4.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the board room in the district’s service center, 18360 Caldart Ave. NE, Poulsbo.

The board will interview the applicants for the District 2 position, which was left vacant when Dan Weedin resigned.

After the interviews, the board will go into executive session to discuss qualifications.

The board will appoint the new member after the executive session.

There were three applicants for the position as of Nov. 3.
