Established in 1921, The North Shore Cricket Club plays matches in the British Columbia Mainland Cricket League.
The club fields four adult cricket teams and a Colts (junior) team plus youth development teams for 8-12 year-old kids (kanga cricket) and 13-15 year-old kids.
“More than 100 club players are on the five adult teams and three junior teams,” the club’s Robert Adie said.
Of the adult teams, each will play 16 matches this season, not including exhibition matches.
“The season itself begins at the end of April,” Adie said, adding it ends in early September. The club plays its home matches at Norgate Park. For info call 990-9977, or log on to www.nvan.com/cricket.
