Anthony A. Winter
Anthony A. Winter, 88, of Port Orchard died Feb. 18 in Bremerton.
He married Ferne Degnan on July 16, 1949.
He served in the Navy during World War II, and retired from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1980 after 33 years.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip (Cathy) Winter and Douglas Winter; three daughters, Kathleen (Michael) McGrath, Debra (Millard) Tutwiler and Mary (Larry) Norton; a sister, Gen Arthaud; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Goodwin, and a granddaughter.
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard, with a reception following. Private burial will be at Sunset Lane Memorial Park.

Ferne L. Winter
Ferne L. Winter, 88, of Port Orchard died Feb. 19.
She was born May 20, 1923, in Pine River, Minn., to Roy and Ida Degnan.
She married Anthony Winter on July 16, 1949.
She worked at South Kitsap High School in the attendance office.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip (Cathy) Winter and Douglas Winter; three daughters, Kathleen (Michael) McGrath, Debra (Millard) Tutwiler and Mary (Larry) Norton; a sister, Ardis Hall-quist; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Nathan D. Nesseth
Nathan D. Nesseth, 78, of Port Orchard died Feb. 14.
He was born July 3,
1933, in Will-iston, N.D., to Paul and Nora Nesseth.
He married Arlene Leach on June 12, 1953, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Port Orchard.
He worked at the Manchester Fuel Depot, retiring in 1993.
He enjoyed fishing, bowling and hunting, as well as coaching baseball and basketball.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, David (Brenda), Daniel (Helen), and Alan (Kimberly) Nesseth, all of Port Orchard; a brother, Murel Nesseth of Port Orchard; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.

Joseph L. Endrizzi
Joseph L Endrizzi, 81, of Olalla died Feb. 14.
He was a military veteran who served in Korea and Vietnam.
He was a retired crane operator from Asarco, and manager of the mobile home park in which he lived.
He enjoyed rose gardening and sharing his sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife, Donelda; six children, 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Haven of Rest Funeral Home, with a reception following.

James Roger Sharp
James Roger Sharp, 51, died Feb. 7 in Anchorage, Alaska.
James was born June 5, 1960, in Bremerton and was raised in the South Kitsap area. He lived in Port Orchard and Bremerton until 2009.
He was a truck driver.
Survivors include two daughters, Cieria and Kenadie, both of Anchorage; his father and stepmother, Frank and Sandy
Sharp of Quilcene, Wash.; his mother, Elberta Mengel of Tacoma; three brothers , Frank Sharp of Port Orchard, Johnny and Ronnie, both of Quilcene; and a sister, Penny Anthony of Port Orchard.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Community Church in Port Orchard.
