Kitsap Young Professionals has collaborated with Slaughter County Brewing Company for an Oktoberfest event on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The event will feature various contests, including German trivia and yodeling, and attendees are encouraged to come in Oktoberfest/German costumes. Prizes are offered for contest winners.

Slaughter County plans on a biergarten outside, where they will offer sausages and locally made German-style beer, and a full German buffet inside. Nostalgia House Bakery will sell large pretzels and Whiskey Gulch will sell coffee and baked goods.

There is no pre-registration for attendees and no cover at the door.  Attendees will have the opportunity to take fun event photos, courtesy of The SnapBar.

The Kitsap Young Professionals (KYP) is a group that serves as a platform for networking, personal and professional development, with leadership opportunities. KYP is a subcommittee of the Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce.
