One person was rescued from a boat Monday afternoon off Foulweather Bluff after it was reportedly taking on water.
The person was aboard a 22-foot cuddy cabin that was reportedly dead in the water. According to a member of the U.S. Coast Guard, the initial report stated that the vessel was taking on water but that issue had been resolved by the time the Coast Guard arrived on scene.
The Coast Guard launched a 45-foot response vessel out of Station Seattle. Local first responders initiated the towing of the vessel, and the person aboard was eventually transferred to the Coast Guard vessel before being dropped off in Port Ludlow.
