GIG HARBOR – Nighttime drivers traveling on eastbound State Route 16 across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge should plan for two nights of lane closures, Oct. 6 and 7, as crews perform annual toll equipment maintenance.

Before starting work at the toll plaza each night, crews will close the on-ramp from 24th Street Northwest to eastbound SR 16 at 8 p.m.

Crews will then close all of the Good To Go! electronic toll lanes by 10 p.m. All of the Good To Go! lanes and the 24th Street ramp will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning. During the closures all vehicles will be detoured through the toll booths.
