BREMERTON — The westbound lane of Burwell Avenue adjacent to the new 606 apartment complex will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the next four weekends: May 30-31; June 6-7; June 13-14, and June 21-22. The closure is necessary for public safety while construction workers install siding on the new building.

The detour will be marked and is a simple one-block drive-around. Traffic entering the intersection at Pacific and Burwell will be detoured one block north to 4th Street, then west one block to Park Avenue and then south one block back to Burwell.

Eastbound traffic on Burwell, and ferry traffic utilizing the ferry tunnel, will not be impacted.
