The second annual Wishbone Day Park Picnic is set for Sunday, May 4, at Marina Park in downtown Port Orchard.
The event is 1-5 p.m. and everyone who attends is encouraged to wear yellow. The South Kitsap High School cheerleaders will appear at the event.
Geneva Flolo, of Port Orchard, is helping organize the picnic to spread awareness about osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) or “bittle bones.”
“Wishbone Day,” which is actually held on Monday, May 5, is an international day of awareness for osteogenesis imperfecta or “bittle bones.”
