Police search for armed robbery, assault suspect

Bremerton police are still on the hunt for a man who, besides packing a revolver-style handgun of unknown caliber, allegedly committed domestic violence and burglary.

Bremerton police are still on the hunt for a man who, besides packing a revolver-style handgun of unknown caliber, allegedly committed domestic violence and burglary.

He is considered armed and dangerous, and if encountered, police warn citizens not to attempt to make contact, but call 911.

Willie J. Carter, 29, was reported to be armed with a handgun at the time of the alleged incidents late Oct.18. Bremerton police and Kitsap County sheriff’s deputies were unable to track him after he fled.

Carter also has felony arrest warrants from Pierce County for felony assault, robbery and unlawful possession of a handgun, according to the Bremerton Police Department. He is originally from Tacoma.

He is described as African American, 5 feet 11 inches, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos on his neck, arm and hands. At last report, he was wearing a blue sweatshirt and black pants.

Carter was last seen walking east along the 100th block of Sheridan Road.
