Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office detectives, working in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, are investigating an early afternoon robbery of a Chase Bank branch in East Bremerton, according to KCSO.
The robbery occurred around 12:44 p.m. Thursday at the Chase branch inside the Fred Meyer store on State Highway 303. A man approached a teller’s station and handed a note to a bank employee, according to KCSO. The note stated that the man had a gun.
After taking an undisclosed amount of money from the bank teller, the man was last seen leaving the store on foot, heading toward State Highway 303.
Detectives describe the suspect as a white male, average height, approximately 40 to 60 years of age. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a red baseball cap with an “older style” Seattle Seahawks hooded jacket, black-colored sweatpants with white stripes down each leg, sunglasses, latex gloves and a white-colored surgical mask, according to KCSO.
