John Powers, executive director of the Kitsap Economic Development Alliance, will give a quarterly update to the Port of Bremerton commissioners when they meet Tuesday.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the Bill Mahan conference room at the Bremerton National Airport, 8850 SW Highway 3, in Bremerton.

A work study session will include a presentation by Kevin Dayton, Olympic Region Administrator for the Washington State Department of Transportation, who will speak about local transportation projects.

A South Kitsap Industrial Area and the Highway 3 – Highway 16 transportation update will be presented by Commissioner Robert Zabinski. He will also speak about concepts for a future rail and highway freight corridor.
