POULSBO — Casey F. Dickerson, 38, was charged July 30 for alleged first-degree trafficking in stolen property and accomplice to second-degree burglary, following a June theft.
Walmart loss prevention agents reported that on June 18, Dickerson was seen picking up several video games as a female companion walked toward him, and agents saw her put the games in her purse. After going into the bathroom, which was “most likely to remove the security device”, according to the report, the female left the store without paying.
Dickerson was then allegedly seen picking up a fuel filter and walking out of the store without paying. In the parking lot, he picked up a Walmart bag, and returned to the store to the customer service desk. According to the report, Dickerson asked to exchange the fuel filter because “he ‘bought’ the wrong one.” He was refunded $11.88.
Dickerson and the female were confronted by officers outside the store, where they admitted the crimes. Dickerson was booked into Kitsap County Jail on $50,500 bail.
