U.S. Army Spc. Bobby Thompson, Poulsbo, a 2004 graduate of North Kitsap High School, deployed with the 221st Cavalry to Langham Province, Afghanistan on the Pakistan border. This is his third combat tour with the two previous tours in Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division.
