Two substations, named Silverdale and Central Kitsap, lost power just after Noon today when a high-voltage transmission line was tripped, according to Dorothy Bracken, spokesperson for Puget Sound Energy.
Bracken said the cause of the trip is not known and crews dispatched to the area did not find a cause.
The line was re-energized shortly after 1 p.m. restoring power to more than 7,000 customers in the Silverdale and Seabeck areas.
