BREMERTON — Learn about Keyport’s history at an exhibit and presentation Dec. 4, 5:30 p.m., at the Kitsap County Historical Society & Museum.

Four vertical panels walk visitors through each quarter century of Naval Undersea Warfare Center Keyport’s history, starting in 1914.
Capt. Dave Kohnke, commander, NUWC Keyport, will share with visitors the 100-year history of this command. In 20 minutes, you will learn about the early start of NUWC Keyport — and, according to coordinators, have a few laughs Kohnke brings you up to date on the role of NUWC Keyport today.
The mission of the Kitsap County Historical Society is to collect, preserve, and exhibit the diverse culture, heritage, and history of Kitsap County for the education and enjoyment of the public.
