State Rep. Jan Angel will hold a telephone town hall meeting Thursday evening.

Angel, R-Port Orchard, is inviting 26th District constituents to participate by telephone on Thursday from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The program will work much like a radio call-in talk show. Citizens may dial in to learn more about the 2012 legislative session, ask questions, participate in surveys or just listen in.

Residents who would like to participate in the event can call 1-877-229-8493 and enter code 15472.

“I want to hear from citizens throughout the 26th District and get their views about the budget, jobs, ferries, and other issues we are facing in this session that could affect our local area,” Angel said in a news release announcing the town hall.
