Three South Kitsap streets will be affected by roadwork projects Tuesday through Friday.
Traffic on Beach Drive, between Hillcrest Drive to Woods Road, will be slowed by ongoing maintenance work through the week. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work area. Delays of up to 10 minutes can be expected in the immediate vicinity of the work.
Paving and patching will take place during the week on SE Lund Avenue between Port Orchard city limits and Jackson Avenue SE. Moderate delays of 10-15 minutes are expected. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes when possible. Work will be dependent on weather conditions.
SE Prospect Drive, between Banner Road SE to SE Prospect, will be affected by drainage installation on Friday, Sept. 11. Delays of up to 10 minutes are possible.
Work on the Manchester Stormwater Retrofit, phase 2, is ongoing on E. Mail Street from Denniston Lane E. Crews are constructing a new stormwater outfall structure adjacent to the Port of Manchester boat launch, including a new fixed pier that provides access to the floating pier at the park.
