Access between SR 16 and SR 166 reopens near Port Orchard

South Kitsap Area
August 15 – Woods Road E
(about 1,500 feet south of the Collins Road E intersection)
County crews are replacing a culvert here beginning Monday, August 15.The road is scheduled to be closed for two weeks at this location.. A detour is in place during the closure. To view the detour route and learn more about the project go to http://bit.ly/WoodsRd.
NEW – Chip Sealing this week in South Kitsap
County crews are chip sealing at several locations in South Kitsap this week. Flaggers will direct motorists through the work areas. Expect delays of up to 10 minutes in the immediate vicinity of the work.

- Ridge Rim Trail (from Lakeway Boulevard to the end)
- Haughton Lane (from Wave Lane to the end)
- Ranch Ridge Court (from Daisy Street to the end)
- Deer Crest Drive (from Daisy Street to the end)
- Daisy Street (from the western dead end to the south dead end)
Tuesday
- Daisy Street (from the western dead end to the south dead end)
- Wava Lane (from Wicks End Lane to the end)
Wednesday
- Wave Lane (from Wicks End Lane to the end)
- Wicks End Lane (from south dead end to north dead end)
NEW – Full depth patching this week in South Kitsap
County crews are full depth patching at two locations in South Kitsap this week. Flaggers will direct motorists through the work areas. Expect delays of up to 10 minutes in the immediate vicinity of the work.
Monday
- E Chester Road (between California Avenue E and Woods Road E)
Wednesday through Friday
Jackson Avenue SE (between SE Salmonberry Road and SR 160 – Sedgwick Road)
ONGOING – E Main Street / E Madrone Avenue
(from the intersection of Beach Drive E and Spring Street E to Alaska Avenue)
This road will be closed from May 2 through September 16 for phase 3 of a continuing stormwater project there. Closures are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Traffic will be detoured around the work. Plan for significant delays. Use alternate routes when possible to avoid delays. Click here for more information about this project.
