The following upcoming road projects in South Kitsap will impact drivers through next week:

NEW – Bethel Burley Road SE(between SE Pine Road and SE Burley Olalla Road)  Kitsap County crews are full-depth patching at this location Monday through Thursday. Flaggers will direct motorists through the work areas. Expect delays of up to 5 minutes in the immediate vicinity of the work.

NEW – E Chester Road(between Woods Road SE and California Avenue SE)  County crews are full-depth patching at this location Friday. Flaggers will direct motorists through the work areas. Expect delays of up to 5 minutes in the immediate vicinity of the work.

ONGOING – E Main Street / E Madrone Avenue(from the intersection of Beach Drive E and Spring Street E to Alaska Avenue)This road will be closed from May 2 through Sept. 16 for phase 3 of a continuing stormwater project there. Closures are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Traffic will be detoured around the work. Plan for significant delays. Use alternate routes when possible to avoid delays.
