Several South Kitsap County roads will be affected by repair, construction and maintenance work through Aug. 28.
Crews will be continuing ongoing work on Beach Drive between Hillcrest Drive and Woods Road. They are doing seawall maintenance through the week. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work area. Delays of up to 10 minutes can be expected in the immediate vicinity of the work.
On Pine Tree Drive SE, crews will begin slurry sealing on Wednesday, Aug. 26. Traffic will be restricted to one lane near the work area. Minimal delays are expected.
On SE Lakeway Boulevard, from Ridge Rim Trail SE to Bethel Burley Road SE, full-depth patching will happen Monday, Aug. 24 through Wednesday, Aug. 26. Expect delays of up to 10 minutes.
Crews will be conducting grinding work on SE Lund Avenue SE, from the city limits to Jackson Avenue SE. Delays of up to 15 minutes can be expected.Also, the Manchester Stormwater Retrofit phase 2 work continues through the week. The affected area is at E. Main Street from Denniston Lane E to the end of the road and Pomeroy Park. Nordland Construction crews are beginning phase 2 of the Manchester Stormwater Retrofit Project.
In this phase of work, crews are constructing a new stormwater outfall structure adjacent to the Port of Manchester boat launch, including a new fixed pier that provides access to the floating pier at the park. Work is expected to continue through September.
