Robert T. Josephsen died on July 10 after a battle with cancer. He was 87. He was born on July 8, 1921 in Spokane to Walter and Ruth (Armfield) Josephsen.
During World War II, he worked for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as a welder. Later, he worked as a Star Route Mail Contractor for 55 years. His route went from Chico to Seabeck-Holly to Dewatto. He also owned his own mail truck delivery service.
During 1967-68 Mr. Joseph-sen worked at Bangor Subma-rine Base for the Vietnam War effort. He was a lifetime member of the Model A Ford Club of America and member of the Puget Sound Military Vehicle Collectors Club. Mr. Josephsen was preceded in death by his brother Elmer; sister Betty; and his parents.
He is survived by his wife Mary of Seabeck; sons Richard (Marcia) of Seabeck, Dan (Gerry) of Kalispell, Mont. and Bob (Kathy) of Seabeck; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
