In memory of the fallen officers of the Dallas Police Department, the City of Port Orchard has created a small rose garden that’s within view of this city’s police officers.

The small memorial has been placed in front of the windows of the Port Orchard Police Department at City Hall.

Local residents Joe and Laurie Donais donated a rose bush for the memorial garden. Connie Hohensee with Recognition Plus donated the memorial plaque next to the bush, and Bill Thiele with the city’s Public Works created a plaque stand and laid out the garden.
