Saturday windstorm leaves 3,000 without power

Falling trees and branches knocked out power to about 3,000 customers Saturday, according to Puget Sound Energy. Most of the outages were concentrated on Bainbridge Island and in North Kitsap. PSE established a service center in Poulsbo and crews are working to restore power.

North Kitsap Fire & Rescue reported downed trees on Sandy Hook Road and Highland Road on Saturday morning.
