There is still time to register and enter your creation in the Port Orchard Bay Street Association Scarecrow Contest.
Scarecrows can be displayed at either a downtown business or at the Port Orchard Market starting Oct. 17. Scarecrows should be on display by Oct. 19.
People’s Choice voting starts Oct. 22 at Port Orchard Market, Peninsula BevCo and Josephine’s Mercantile. Winners from the People’s Choice voting will be announced Nov. 8.
Category judges awards will be announced Oct. 29.
Scarecrows can be entered in one of three categories: Family/Individual; Business or Not-for-Profit Organization.
