DeVries named North Kitsap pool coordinator

Jake DeVries, a swim program manager who’s worked with pools from Guam to Indiana, is the new pool coordinator. DeVries has 12 years of aquatic experience and six years of lifeguard management and instruction. Most recently he was swim coach/event facilitator for Surprise, Ariz.

He’ll work closely with the district’s Community Pool Advisory Committee to quickly increase revenue and decrease costs at the pool.
