OC’s biology department launches textbook
lending library
The purpose of the Biology Lending Library is to provide support to OC students requiring economic assistance in obtaining textbooks for the Biology 201 series, which includes the classes of Biology 201, 202, and 203. The lending library will offer students the option of checking out a book for the quarter and returning it at the end, eliminating the cost of the necessary textbook. Due to a limited number of textbooks in the lending library, priority will be given to students who demonstrate the highest need for assistance and who plan on completing the entire Biology 201 series, but all OC students enrolled in the Biology 201 series are allowed to apply. The Biology Lending Library is located in CSC 302. For more information, please contact Serena Erickson at serickson@oc.ctc.edu or (360) 475-7267.
