Kitsap County Seahawks fans traveling by Washington State Ferries to Saturday’s playoff game against the New Orleans Saints can make the trek home easier by buying their ferry tickets before the game.
“The 12th Man can be cheering the Seahawks in the stadium and home that much sooner by buying a ferry ticket before the game,” said David Moseley, WSDOT assistant secretary, ferries division.
Seattle’s Colman Dock often becomes crowded after sporting events as walk-on passengers make their way back to Bremerton or Bainbridge Island.
Fans can avoid long lines by buying tickets in advance at a terminal kiosk or online, then using their pre-paid ticket to enter through the turnstiles.
As with all recent home games, state ferries will be flying the 12th Man flag on Saturday. Purchase tickets online: www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/wave2go
