Search warrant at NK residence leads to arrest

KCSO obtained warrant following investigation for multiple Kitsap burglaries

Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed a search warrant at a North Kitsap residence Jan. 5 where four people were detained and one arrested following an investigation into numerous burglaries.

At about 6 a.m., deputies went to a residence on Port Gamble Road NE in Poulsbo, a KCSO Facebook post says. The warrant was obtained following an investigation into multiple burglaries in areas including Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo, Silverdale and Kingston. In one suspected break-in in Silverdale on Christmas Eve, victims reported several firearms and a 2021 white Subaru Outback had been stolen.

A KCSO Swat team served the warrant. One man was taken into custody on an unrelated warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm. A dog was taken to a shelter by Kitsap Animal Control.

Detectives recovered a large cache of property believed to have been stolen by the suspects. A related search warrant served in Port Ludlow by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office located an AR-15-style rifle. JCSO investigators also reported seizing methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl and merchandise suspected to have been stolen in burglaries at several businesses in Kitsap County.
