A community meeting is scheduled Wednesday to inform residents that a Level III sex offender has registered to live on the 1200 block of Baby Doll Road in South Kitsap.

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office has scheduled the meeting for Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. in the Kitsap Room of the Givens Community Center, 1026 Sidney Road in Port Orchard.

Ajay Morrice Dufault, 19, was first convicted of attempted child molestation and assault in 2004, according to court records. In 2006, Dufault was again convicted of attempted child molestation in the first degree.

He has reportedly admitted to sexually abusing both male and female juveniles, and is enrolled in treatment.

He is described as white, 5-11, 200-lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.
