BREMERTON — A Level 3 registered sex offender has legally moved to Bremerton, according to a Bremerton Police Department notification.

Kyle M. Lynch was convicted of third-degree molestation in 1995, attempted child molestation in 2006 and communication for sexual purposes with a minor in 2005 and 2006 in Snohomish County.

The Bremerton Police Department emphasized that while Lynch has been convicted of a sexual offense, he has served the sentence imposed by the court. He is not currently wanted by police.

Police remind the public that it is a crime to threaten, intimidate or harass registered sex offenders. Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to do community notifications, police department officials said. Bremerton Police Department’s Community Resource Unit is available to help residents set up neighborhood watches and provide useful information on personal safety. If you have information regarding current concerns or have witnessed criminal activity, contact the Bremerton Police Department 360-473-5220.

Lynch is a 34-year-old white male, 5-feet, 9-inches tall and 135 pounds. Lynch has registered with Kitsap County to reside in the 100 block of Sheridan Road in Bremerton.
