The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office released information about a registered level 3 sex offender who resides in the Gorst area.
Lance Allen Warren, 44, has registered with the sheriff’s office that he will be residing in the 4300 block of State Highway 3 West.
According to court documents Warren was convicted of two counts of first-degree child molestation in 1998 after molesting a juvenile female. He was also convicted of unlawful possession of a firearm in 2012, driving under the influence in 2013, fourth-degree assault, and for violation of a no contact order.
Warren committed several major infractions while incarcerated within the Washington State Department of Corrections which include strong-arming and organizing a hunger strike. Warren participated in sexual deviancy treatment in prison.
Brown is described as a 5-foot-10 white male, 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue yes.
“The person named in this advisory has been convicted of a criminal offense that requires registration with the sheriff’s office in the county of residence,” said Sheriff Steve Boyer. “Further, his previous criminal history places him in a classification level that reflects the potential to re-offend.”
A community meeting is set for Tuesday, Feb. 4, at South Kitsap Fire and Rescue Station No. 31, 200 Tremont St., Port Orchard.

As of Jan. 21, there are 844 registered sex offenders registered with Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office. There are 19,776 sex offenders who have registered and are living in the state.
