PORT ORCHARD — The Sidney Museum and Arts Association is offering a “two-fer” on Saturday, Nov. 25: its annual membership meeting and a special pre-season holiday party.

The annual meeting for members begins at 5:30 p.m. at the gallery, 202 Sidney Ave., Port Orchard. The main task for members will be to nominate and/or vote for the association’s board of directors. At 6 p.m., the meeting will usher in the association’s holiday party at the same location.

Food and beverages will be provided for members and their guests. Also featured as part of the holiday party will be a variety of handcrafted items and original pieces of art. On that night only, paid members and those who sign up for memberships will receive a special 15 percent discount on all purchases over $10.

Bobbie Stewart, the association’s president, said the organization is supporting the South Kitsap Helpline by collecting non-perishable food items for donation. Participants also will join in to pick up a tag from the Christmas tree to purchase a gift and help bring joy to someone needy this holiday season through Helpline, Steward said.
