The Silverdale Sounder Sams, a local chapter of the Good Sam RV Club, presented a $500 check on Dec. 16 to the Central Kitsap Food Bank.

Throughout the year, club members host an annual garage sale, collect aluminum cans and hold monthly raffles to raise funds to donate to the local food bank. The club gives $500 at Thanksgiving and $500 at Christmas.

The local chapter currently has 35 members. Together they travel all over the state of Washington and elsewhere throughout the country vacationing in their recreactional vehicles as a group, enjoying the local scenery.
