Three South Kitsap Fire and Rescue volunteer firemen were recognized for their community service and for scholastic performances during the 90th Annual Washington State Fire Fighters’ Association (WSFFA) Conference held June 6-8, in Wenatchee.

Jon  Andrzejewski was honored as Firefighter of the Year, Eric Torrison was selected Volunteer Support Person of the Year and Stephen Lacheney was named Volunteer EMS Responder of the Year.

Applications for these volunteer fire service awards were submitted by department leaders, peers or subordinates.
