Emily Smith and Jeremy Paz, both of Bremerton, were married on July 26, 2008 in Port Ludlow.

The bride is the daughter of Brian and Janet Smith of Bremerton. She is a 2005 Olympic College grad and is currently a customer service representative at Timberland Bank.

The groom is the son of Robert Paz and Kathie Gardner of Bremerton and Home, Wash., respectively. He is a project manager for Potelco.

The couple met through friends and dated for six years. They honeymooned in Hawaii and are making their first home in Silverdale.
