POULSBO — This year’s Viking Fest luncheon at the Sons of Norway will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16.
The luncheon traditionally takes place on Saturday during Viking Fest, but in order to assure parking access for patrons, the event has been moved to the preceding Wednesday.
Visitors can expect a “Kaffe Stua” buffet featuring the legendary split pea soup, traditional open-faced sandwiches including some special Norwegian fare: pickled herring, lefse, krumake and a special selection of desserts.
The Sons of Norway Beer Garden will be on open on Saturday and will feature Viking meatballs on a stick and Viking dogs with outdoor seating.
