A special meeting of the South Kitsap School District board is slated at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 at the District office, 2689 Hoove Ave. SE.

This is the first board meeting under Dr. Michelle Reid, the district’s new superintendent. She took over July 1.

During the meeting, Chief Financial and Operations Officer Sandy Rotella will present a preliminary budget to the board.

The board will look at revisions to the Discrimination and Affirmative Action police. It will be the first reading of the policy.

Consent agenda items include Certificated and Classified Human Resource reports, surplus technology equipment, approval of donations and an out-of-state travel request.
