On Aug. 10, Kitsap County student athletes are invited to the Back to School Sports Physical and Student Health Fair hosted by The Doctors Clinic Orthopedic and Sports Medicine.

The event is open to grades seven through 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Salmon Medical Center. The fair will offer sports physicals, vision testing, concussion awareness and injury prevention tips. Nutrition guidelines will be given for active youth, and CPR demonstrations and asthma screenings will be available.

The cost is $10 and cash is the only accepted payment option. Proceeds from the event will be donated back to the students’ athletic department.
