Students at Central Kitsap High School were sent home at 10 a.m. on June 1 due to a burst pipe.
“For some reason there was a breakage in the pipe, and as a result of that we had to go in and repair that pipe … to get the water cleaned up to have school today,” said David Beil, the director of community relations at Central Kitsap School District.
Central Kitsap High School went back to a regular schedule on June 2 as the school was able to clean up the water.
