Any community group or nonprofit organization that would like to have information about its activities, meetings, etc. included in the 2012 South Kitsap Almanac should submit information by next week to the Port Orchard Independent.

Organizations or groups that were listed in the 2011 Almanac that would like to be in the 2012 version may call the Independent at 876-4414 to confirm or update listing information.

Information also may be submitted by email to editor@portorchardindependent.com, by fax to (360) 876-4458, or by bringing it to the newspaper office at 2950 SE Mile Hill Dr.

Submissions need to be received by Jan. 18, and the Almanac will be published February 24.
