SUQUAMISH — The Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort will make a $10,000 cash donation to the North Kitsap School District Sunday.

The donation, part of the “Add it up for NK Schools” event being held Sept. 18 at the casino, will provide each elementary classroom a $50 gift card for supplies. An additional $4,500 will also be distributed to the seven elementary schools. The amount the school receives will be based on student enrollment. School leadership teams will determine how to use the money at each school.

The casino will also collect school supply donations from casino patrons in return for additional entries in $15,000 worth of giveaways.

The donations will be presented to the district in the casino at 6 p.m. on Sunday. Representatives from the elementary schools are expected to be in attendance.
